History tells that tea was brought to England around 1663, along with the arrival of the Portuguese princess Catherine of Braganza, who would become king Charles II's wife. Afterwards the tea has become a big tradition to this European country, being the center of a special moment of socialization. However, in Brazil, our special reunion moment has another warm beverage as its center: the coffee.
The coffee is offered in the office - during a reunion or in a break -. at the end of a meal, to start the day... but the most Brazilian and familiar way is to offer this warming beverage as a welcome to the ones who visit us - to go along with a good talk.
That´s why the Arquitetas Invisíveis's blog is called "Coffee Time", because this is our way to keep a good talk with everyone who is interested by architecture, the gender and every other subject that surround us.
Here we are going to share articles, arts, videos... anyway, many kinds of medias and ways of expression that are important for our debate a reflection on the themes discussed by the Arquitetas Invisíveis. The founders and the collaborators are going to make regular posts presenting their personal opinion about the scenario that we live and study.
Welcome to the Coffee Time, our blog in development. Make yourself at home, and there is always a hot coffee waiting for you.
