
Kathryn Gustafson
Curiosities: The architect Kathryn Gustafson was born in 1951 in the United States. Her first degree was in her home country , in the course of arts. Then she graduated in fashion design in England and landscaping in France. She worked in the three places, first as a designer and later as a paysagist. Her landscape projects are internationally recognized and has already reached not only Europe and the United States, but also Asia and the Middle East. In response to her performance, the architect has garnered numerous awards, including: Millennium Garden Design Competition, American Society of Landscape Architects: Gold Medal (2008), National Heritage of the 20th Century (2007), Finalist: Cooper Hewitt National Design Awards for Landscape Design (2005), Royal Designer for Industry UK (RDI: 2005), Remarkable Garden (2004), Design Merit Award (2003), Chrysler Design Award (2001), Honorary Fellow (1999), Jane Drew Prize (1998) , Architectural Decoration Medal (1993).
